
Meet Teen Vogue’s Era Subsequent Class of 2022
Our expertise mentorship program for rising designers, Era Subsequent, is again! Teen Vogue has partnered with the LEGO® model to assist the elevation of younger designers and demystify the evolving trade of trend. This 12 months, tons of of contestants submitted their samples, sketches, and concepts to a board of esteemed judges chosen by Teen Vogue editors. Our panel consists of the designer and founding father of Head of State, Taofeek Abijako; Kith’s Chief of Impression, Sharifa Murdock; world-renowned Inventive Guide, Shibon Kennedy; the CEO of Depop, Maria Raga; the designer and founding father of abacaxi, Sheena Sood, who can be a previous Era Subsequent finalist from our class of 2020; and the founding father of Gradual Manufacturing facility, Céline Semaan-Vernon. This gifted group may even function mentors to the 2022 Era Subsequent finalists. With the assist of Teen Vogue’s fashion workforce and Editor-in-Chief Versha Sharma, the judges handpicked six rising trend designers who make it secure to say that the way forward for trend is in good palms.
Every finalist has a novel plan to push trend ahead. As part of the Gen Subsequent initiative, all six designers will showcase their artwork in Los Angeles on November twelfth at this 12 months’s Teen Vogue Summit amongst trade insiders, influencers, and celebs to foster new relationships and networking alternatives.
